This morning, ITSRIGHT
held a lecture on the business of creativity protection at Università
Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as part of the Executive Master CREA
(Executive Program in Creative Entrepreneurship with Africa).
We are pleased to
contribute to this project, which promotes education, international mobility,
and joint programs between Italy and Africa, with the goal of strengthening the
skills and knowledge of young creatives from diverse backgrounds.
During the session, we
discussed copyright and the crucial role of collecting societies in supporting
creators, sharing experiences and insights on the importance of rights
management within the musical and audiovisual sectors.
The meeting also featured
Laza Razanajatovo, President of APASER – Pan-African Alliance of
Screenwriters and Filmmakers, who offered valuable reflections on digital
rights and their impact on creative industries.
A special thanks goes to Professor Chiara Paolino
and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for the opportunity to contribute to a
training project that promotes creativity as a bridge for dialogue and growth
between Italy and Africa
